We are very happy to announce we’ve started collaborating with another prized Swedish startup, Bright Day Graphene. We invited their CEO and co-founder, Malin Alpsten, to tell you more.

Ligna Energy is a start-up with the mission to supply the world with a safe and sustainable way of storing energy. The Swedish deep tech company is now worth about €10M and is heading for a bright future with a vast expansion potential.

Ten years of research at Linköping University resulted in a wooden battery that the company Ligna Energy is now about to launch on the market.

Startup 4 Climate is the biggest energy innovation challenge in northern Europe and we are super proud to say we are the winners. We can now call ourselves one of the most prominent climate innovations in Sweden!

Ligna is now fully investing in developing a small printed component that stores energy - primarily to support energy harvesters of various kinds, such as Epishine's solar cells - but in the long term intended as a catalog product that can be purchased separately.
